I have been dying to try this place out as I've been hearing nothing but amazing reviews! Yesterday I popped in and ordered the current weekly special, Chicken Parm Lasagna, regular $11.99 on for $9.99. A healthy portion of breaded chicken parm underneath a heaping 9 layers of homemade lasagna. Speaking with Carmen the owner, I learned that all of his dishes are his mother's authentic Sicilian homemade recipes. Delicious! The lasagna was a great balance of noodles to sauce sprinkled with mozzarella. The chicken was very tender and mixed well with the lasagna topping! Carmen was gracious to let us try his homemade meatballs in sauce which were very tasty! The shop is a little take out place on the corner of Kenilworth & Newlands with a typical atmosphere for a quick take out spot.

A great little spot to pop in for a hearty homemade Italian meal!

They also offer a full menu of catering options. I'm definitely keeping the catering menu for future events!
