Starting with a food truck Gorilla Cheese has become a staple restaurant on Ottawa St N for the last couple years. I am not a big sandwich eater, I'm pretty simple when it comes to what I like in between bread! I decided to try The Fun Guy, a blend of cremini mushrooms, garlic, & mozzarella cheese with added bacon ($2 extra). We also ordered fresh cut fries to with our sandwiches. The grilled cheese had great flavour with the garlic and lots of gooey cheese! Adding the bacon gave this grilled cheese a bit more depth with the meat but would be just as tasty as a vegetarian option. The fries were golden fresh cut fries, always a great side! There is a small seating area inside also with a high top table across the front windows, great for people watching while enjoying a quick bite. They also have a couple picnic tables outside, a great spot on a nice sunny day. Sandwiches a la carte range from $7-$11, Sides are an extra $3-$7. They offer a side bowl of tomato soup which is always a great addition to grilled cheese on a colder day!

Although we had a great tasting lunch I feel the price is a bit steep for a grilled cheese.
